The Ohio State 4 Miler

Deferral Information

If you registered for the Ohio State 4 Miler before February 1, 2021, you have the option to participate virtually OR defer to the 2021 Ohio State 4 Miler scheduled for October 24, 2021.

Those registered for the Ohio State 4 Miler or Ohio State 4 Miler + Packet Mailing classes must login to their EnMotive account and answer the question "Do you want to remain in the Virtual Ohio State 4 Miler in April 2021 or defer to October 2021"?

Those who are registered for the Ohio State 4 Miler + VIP, Ohio State 4 Miler + VIP + Packet Mailing or Virtual Ohio State 4 Miler classes DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION. All VIP participants will receive a complimentary virtual experience in April and be automatically deferred into the October event. Those who signed up for Virtual are all set as well!

Those signed up for the Brutus Bolt Kids Race will automatically be deferred into October. There will be no virtual kids race in April.

Please note that the Virtual Ohio State 4 Miler in April and the 2021 Ohio State 4 Miler on Oct. 24 are SEPARATE EVENTS and will feature UNIQUE shirts and medals. The April event is technically the 2020 Ohio State 4 Miler and the October event is the  2021 Ohio State 4 Miler. Participants are encouraged to do both events!

Please note: For those registered before Feb. 1, your registration for the April event has recently been moved from to the EnMotive registration platform.  To make your decision to participate virtually or defer, please login to your EnMotive account that was created with your e-mail account.

How to login to your EnMotive account:

An account was created for you when your registration was moved to EnMotive. If it is your first time logging into your EnMotive account follow these instructions:

  1. Visit https://m3ssports.enmotive.com/ and click login in the upper right corner
  2. Click ‘Forgot Password’ and follow the instructions
  3. Once you have reset your password you will be redirected back to EnMotive

How to answer the question whether to participate virtually or defer:

  1. Visit https://m3ssports.enmotive.com/ and login. Click ‘my account’ in the upper right corner
  2. Scroll to your registration and click the ‘actions’ drop down
  3. Select ‘view registration’
  4. Scroll to the bottom of this page and answer the Post Registration Question

A few reminders about the virtual / deferral process:

  1. VIP Experience members do not need to take any action. VIP Experience members will receive a complimentary virtual experience and automatically be deferred to October.
  2. If you are already signed up for the Virtual Ohio State 4 Miler class in April, you also do not need to take any action.
  3. Brutus Bolt Kids Race participants will automatically be deferred to October. There will be no virtual kids race offered in April.
  4. If you signed up for the Ohio State 4 Miler + Packet Mailing,  you will received a $25 coupon for the October event if you opt to participate virtually in April.
